Why are these apps not available on Google Play or Amazon Appstore?
Google has changed its appstore requirements, and the development platform (Tasker) that is used to create and maintain the apps can not generate installable apps (.apk) in the new format required by Google.
As for the Amazon Appstore, this option is no longer available since Amazon ended support for Android apps in their store on February 20, 2025.
Regardless, the apps that can be downloaded from here are (and will remain) safe to install. Also note that Android’s installation process optionally scans all third-party apps to ensure their security.
