PLEASE READ THIS FIRST!

I’m a retired programmer with mainframe background who now creates and maintains Android apps as a personal hobby. I enjoy building practical tools, refining them over time, and am now sharing a few of them with anyone who finds them useful. I’m not active on social media (I prefer my privacy), but you can occasionally find me on Reddit under the pseudonym PlentyYoghurt2.

Developing these apps is simply something I love to do — and I’m happy if they make someone else’s day a bit easier.


  • Google has changed its appstore requirements, and the development platform (Tasker) that is used to create and maintain the apps can not generate installable apps (.apk) in the new format required by Google.

    As for the Amazon Appstore, this option is no longer available since Amazon ended support for Android apps in their store on February 20, 2025.

    Regardless, the apps that can be downloaded from here are (and will remain) safe to install. Also note that Android’s installation process optionally scans all third-party apps to ensure their security.


    • All apps on this website are built and maintained using a development platform called Tasker, which can cause some unique behavior during installation. To avoid potential issues after downloading, PLEASE follow these recommendations:

    1. Tap the APK file to begin installation. If prompted to allow your file browser to install apps from unknown sources, go to **Settings** and grant the required permission.

    2. You may see a **Google Play Protect** warning. If you tap the main button, the installation will be canceled. Instead, tap **More details**, then choose **Install anyway**. This step is only needed the first time you install the app.

    3. To double-check that the app is safe, you can tap the APK again after installation—Google will scan it and confirm its safety.

    4. IMPORTANT: If this is your first time installing the app (i.e., it's not an update), go to **Settings > Apps**, find and select the app, then tap **Storage**, and choose **Clear data**. This helps prevent potential issues caused by a fresh install.

    5. Finally, tap the APK file once more and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. For added security, you may want to disable the file browser's install permission afterward.
